Hopeless Hearts

All Violet Winthropp wants for her freshman year of college is a new start. Haunted by her high school past as the weird bi girl obsessed with vampires, she aims to keep her head down and fly under the radar.

When one of Liz’s friends is found dead and drained of blood after a party, Violet knows she has to take action. Armed with nothing more than a hunch and a box of frozen garlic bread, she sets out to discover the truth—is Liz a vampire, a murderer, or both? (And why does Violet still kinda want to kiss her despite this?)

Sweet, Funny, and Heartfelt

I was not prepared to become so invested in this book. Wonderful characters, interesting story line, lots of laughs and a few tears—all brought to life by great narration. Loved Violet and Liz’s dynamic and their character development within the story.
