Teaches you how to walk on egg shells. This may have been more useful in the 1950s, it’s interesting when the author uses female/male pronouns within examples. This book breezes over so much but when it does get detailed, it is decent information.

Cute but I don’t think it’s made for adults dealing with people with mental illnesses

Cute but not cutthroat

Good analogies; relatable and to the point; presented in a kind lighthearted way. Short and sweet and absorbable

The overall theories are sound. I have a BIG porcupine, and it does work. Progress is ridiculously slow. My problem is, I start feeling like, "Flipping big baby (porcupine); grow up and stop being such a pain in the ass". I had to put the book aside a few times because I was getting pissed. Porcupines are exhausting. Everyone can be a porcupine sometimes, myself included but when it's a lifestyle that seems to be hard-wired in..... I have to wonder if it's worth the effort. The book does have excellent advice though.

Good content but....
