Great fun, but pretty much useless unless you go to quiz night at your local pub.

Feels like it was written by a Women's Studies major

I couldn't even finish the History Overview section prior to Chapter 1 because of the 'patriarchy' and "misogyny" language. The author conveniently ignored the social class restrictions in the Roman Republic that could vote, and relates wanting to be a care-free teenage boy to being "a victim of misogyny". Once I heard these two points in the span of 15 minutes, I couldn't treat the author as a credible source of historical facts, as I expect the author wrote the rest of the book through the same post-modern feminist lens.
