So many Characters

First of all I really like the narrators voice however at times she speaks so fast that it is hard to understand. I feel like she is speed reading and with so many characters I tend to just space out. Sadly it does ruin the storyline. I felt like it was a race to the end. So many names I stopped even trying to figure out who they all were.

Superb in all respects

Great story line and wonderful character development. Books are self contained but added level of enjoyment if read or listened to in the 'proper' order. The narrator does a top notch job and gives an added level of enjoyment to the whole experience. I have the first 4 in the series and wish the next 2 were also on audible.

This is a good one.

This one was really good. The tough grit and grim of the first in the series remains but this time includes palpable altruism and warmth between characters. I find Ellis's writing to be good but it's hard to listen to a whole book of unrelenting awfulness . . . why I tiptoe gambled on this 3rd in the series, giving her one last chance - cuz I like the fens and the plots. Glad I did.

EXCELLENT ONCE AGAIN!!!

This third in the Nikki Galena series went at a galloping pace with one dangerous episode after another. The plot is amazingly convoluted with many red herrings and twists. Two lines of enquiry which dovetail nicely. Joseph and Nikki's bravery, cleverness and synergy continues to be awe inspiring as their friendship builds. The support team are wonderful characters. This audiobook was a true pleasure!!!
