Lost and alone, five-year old Amy Robinson lay shivering under the dark, rainy sky, her memory wiped clean. As she struggled to make sense of her surroundings, she had no recollection of her name or past. A wild animal, a wolf lay at her side.
Amy petted the wolf, thinking it was a dog. Dazed, she looked to her left then to her right. In both directions, the muddy mountain-road disappeared around the bends. When the wolf led her into the woods she followed. The animal was taking her ever further from everything that she once knew.
