In the heart of an Atlantic superstorm, the Tahila fights to stay afloat.

Amid the chaos, the ship’s collision-avoidance system blares a warning. Radar shows no ship. No signal. No lights. Just a strange silhouette beneath the waves. A searchlight is focussed into the raging sea and the crew spot something impossible: the slanted roof of a house with glass windows and solid walls… adrift in the open ocean more than a thousand miles from land.

Lightning flashes – and behind one of the windows, a woman is staring out, her eyes wide with a silent plea.

Braving the storm, Sam Reilly dives beneath the surface and emerges inside the structure to rescue her. The woman greets him with an enigmatic familiarity and a secret that will challenge everything he thought he knew about his past…
