After making the courageous decision to leave her abusive husband, Perdie and her three young children start over and finally find the safety and love they all deserve. But years later, when tragedy strikes, Perdie is left wondering if the choice she made to leave has led them to this moment. If she were given the opportunity to take it all back and stay, would she?

2020 in a nutshell

This was a fun read. Were seeing the plot unraveling from the perspective of the Devil and it has a bit of The Butterfly Effect elements to it. Its pessimistic and raw and altruistic. Its like the perfect definition of 2020. So please, only read it of you're feeling particularly nihilistic and not depressed. But, seriously, this was a fun read. 10/10 recommend.
