I'm Finley, Not Amber brought to life!

I’ve read and now also listened to the audible version of this book. The author’s research and actual extended time with trafficked victims gives the story sobering credibility. It’s difficult to believe, but yet the dignity of young women is exploited and destroyed through sex trafficking far more often than we’ll ever know. The beautiful writing offers details of the trauma these girls endure, without being too graphic. But the narration truly brought the characters alive. Reading/listening to this book is a good first step in learning about restorative services available to join in the elimination of this dark reality.

The Kind of Book You Can’t Stop Listening To

Told from the perspective of a teenager who gets kidnapped and sex trafficked, this is a story you can’t stop listening to. It’s tense, action-packed, and manages to have hope alongside the tragedy. It can be hard to hear since it’s so realistic a glimpse into trafficking in cities all around us, but the author manages to keep glimpses of hope and humanity all throughout. Definitely worth listening to; the narrator does a great job too!!
