Engrossing storyline and characters

What do you get with great writing and great narration (Abby Craden does it again!!)?

A four part adventure that is very hard to put down/ stop listening. I was so enthralled by this story and performance- I needed it to end so I could get work done lol and also dreaded it ending.

If you like well written historical fiction with sapphic forward arch… you will love books 1-4. Listen in order. You won’t be disappointed.

Fabulous Well Written Story!

The in depth characters of this well written continuation of a heart felt wartime love story is a pleasure to escape in. I love the separate points of views of the two main characters and others the, author expertly conveys to the audience. The different perspectives of the main characters and description of their love making is on point. The unfolding of the storyline and a intimacy of the main characters as they share various moments, makes total sense. The performance of the narrator is excellent with the just right tone! Looking forward to enjoying the third installment of this wonderful book series.

Love this series thankful to the ppl who reccomended it. Jenny and Kat are rivaled in complexity, layers, and engagement by the mcs of the Juliana series only. J.E. Leak is a very evocative writer these two women exude chemistry whilst also frustrating you at points though you understand both of thier reasons for the respective pushback. Excited to begin book 3.
