Ronan and the Bunker Busters have become the talk of Ocala after their triumph in the Hog Parade. While the effect is more than positive for the hope of friendly relations between them and the Allied Towns, not everyone celebrates their rise. Beneath the city’s shining surface, long-buried corruption stirs, drawn to the outsiders as a means to escape—or destroy.

With a hurricane barreling toward Ocala, the Bunker Busters must split up to uncover the hidden saboteurs, protect the innocent, and challenge the entrenched status quo. As the nature of Entities and Aberrant comes to light, Ronan faces the ultimate challenge: command every ounce of magic he can access to face otherworldly threats.

The battle for the surface has two possible outcomes: allow an insidious illusion to reign, or embrace a harsh reality in desperate need of change.
