I didn’t mean to see him naked - it was an accident.

It had to be, right?

Because Noah McCormick and I have never been anything more than friends. In all the years I’ve known him, he’s never once laid a finger on me. And even though he was a cute lifeguard at 16 and a hotter-than-hell sheriff’s deputy at 34, he's always been that protective guy I could trust to keep his hands to himself. I never wanted to mess with that.

Until I walked in on him getting out of the shower and saw his hard, muscular body totally bare and dripping wet. At that moment I never wanted to mess with anything so badly in my entire life.

I should have covered my eyes. Said I was sorry. At the very least, I could have handed him a towel.

After all, I was only in town for a few days, and he was just doing me a favor by escorting me to my sister’s wedding. It wasn’t a real date.

But I didn’t apologize. And he didn’t cover up.

(Talk about a hot mess.)

After all those years of being just friends, suddenly we’re insatiable.

He’s made it clear he’s not interested in romance. Which is fine with me because I’ve got a plane ticket back to my real life at the end of the week.

Storyline

I cried so hard during this book as it was so real to me. As a Mom of a sowcusl needs adult, I relate to the characters so well. Thank you Melanie Harlow for this real depiction of this fellow Michigander's life!!

Amazing Listen

I loved this book!! Meg and Noah have such an awesome story... A perfect friends to lovers story that will have you falling in love with them.

These two will have you swooning and fanning your face from the steam in this book.

This book has been my favorite in the series so far! I couldn’t stop listening once I started!

Noah & Meg

Thoroughly enjoyed this story , its contents and the Characters. Stephen Dexter and Savannah Peachwood were the perfect duo in the telling of their story. A women's hero literally and figuratively and his struggles of denying his own happiness out of a sense of guilt of his and his brothers birth selection in life. Luve does conquer all.

Noah and Meg 4ever!

At this point this book is a comfort read for me. I love both characters of Noah and Meg. Plus the supporting characters like Noah's mom, sister and brother are amazing.
I am a sucker for a man who calls his mother "Ma".

It also, doesn't hurt that my man Mack from book 1 makes a quick appearance.
I'm not usually a huge friends to lovers person, but this story has all the elements to balance it perfectly.
Lastly Stephen Dexter's narration is so perfect. It's sweet, funny and sexy. Ahhh I love it!
