I LOVED this book

So I did listen to book 1 over again because it’s been a while. It was not necessarily, but I’m glad I did. I had not remembered a few things. I love that the author moves right along and assumes you remember book one and rarely explains himself. But again you’d not miss anything if you don’t listen or read book one again. I totally forgot about the ending cliffhanger in book one. LOL

I can honestly say after ing listing to both back to back this book was just as good as the 1st. No dead wasted time or nonsense side stories. It just goes nonstop.

So many twists and turns. We get a whole new storyline with new and old characters mixed in. Plus a lot more new creatures, aliens, and weapons this time which is always fun.

No cliffhanger ending like last time. But the ending was extremely satisfying. If you liked the first book you’ll like this one too.

There was way more talk about sex pretty PG. A couple times you know someone is having sex. Thankfully this author does not give us a play by play moment of the events. You just know they had sex.

There are still a lot of questions and we need book 3 to answer them. Waiting is the hard part.

This can't be a sequel ..

Sorry. It has nothing of the first book. I'm over halfway through and bored out of my mind. I can't even tell you what's happened up u til now. The narrators are brilliant, but the story lies there like a stale ham sandwich.
