Expect many negative reviews from members of those in Iron Order. Iron Order M/C has been the subject of multiple confrontations with well established motorcycle clubs and is seen as starting the "Pop-Up Club" phenomenon.Before the Iron Order M/C, it was unheard of accepting Active or Retire Law Enforcement into a civilian motorcycle club. Now, 2018 has seen a rise in clubs sporting the 1%er patch accepting law enforcement into their ranks. The 1%er patch was once seen as a badge of honor to those who are considered Outlaw Motorcycle Clubs. Now, with the Pop Up Club Phenomenon, the 1%er patch is now fading into history.This will be a brutally honest book about the Iron Order M/C. This book is one of the first that has been written on Iron Order M/C. It will include interviews with some in the Iron Order as well as information that will rock the readers world.

good stuff about the IO and history lesson. But chapter 11 hit it squarely on the head!!! Unfortunately so true and not a lot of people will own up to it. Thank you for saying it out loud. I don't have an audience so few get to hear it from me. Couldn't have said it better. Stay real.

Interesting read.

Being an MC rabbit hole’r, the author’s POV is interesting… especially when it comes to LEOs in MC’s. The use of words like “tradition”, and “history”, when sowing the IOMC, is funny as hell. Cuz the “tradition” and the true “history” of the OG’s (and all big brand clubs) is nothing short of BS. Civilians and MC crews can all agree on one thing… MC culture has been packed with “human nature” in all its negative forms.
Maybe… JUST MAYBE, sticking with a core idea, and breaking the tradition of an MC becoming all the negatives that label them, by mixing LEOs and John Q Citizen-MC club member, is a GOOD THING. How many times has everyone thought the “clique nature” of LEOs… creating the “Us v Them” mindset… needs to not exist?
How can you hope that LEOs change, when you’re bound by some fallacy (the idea that tradition has been a good thing)?
Complete separation of groups, is rarely a good thing, in the long run. Maybe it’s time to keep the core idea (ride free/have fun) alive, and do away with the tradition of betrayal, lies, back stabbing, etc? See? Tradition isn’t always a good thing.

Interesting perspective on a fledgling club

I'm never a fan of digital voice audio books but this one was not terrible. Once you get passed the AI reading the (.) out loud as "dot" at the end of sentences is actually very eye opening to how the Iron Order got its start.
