A Coming of Age Love Story

This coming-of-age novel tells the story of Jack and Chris, two boys at the start of their teenage years (still in junior high), who fall in love while navigating the challenges and discoveries of adolescence. Together, they face bullying, intolerance, and even domestic abuse. Despite all this, they find their way to happiness, whether it's on the bleachers of a baseball field sharing tender moments under the starry skies or enjoying the beauty of a secret location in the woods close to a river. With mutual support, the protagonists learn about courage, self-acceptance, profound love, and finding a sense of home in each other's arms. The narrative explores themes of coming-of-age, friendship, identity, and the journey of staying true to oneself while confronting the complexities of the world around them. It features touching moments, such as their magical first kiss, and settings of unique and stunning beauty.

Story is ok, virtual voice is not

The story was ok, although it was not completely realistic, it was a nice tale of love and acceptance. The virtual voice was terrible, mispronouncing words and not putting the right emphasis on words in a sentence, sometimes making a sentence sound like a question when it was supposed to be a statement, and vice versa. I hope this is not the future of audio books, if that’s the case I will start reading books again instead of listening.

I love these books so much and it describes how I am at school and everything else so I would like to read more books like this if you can do more like this one I love. I really love all these books that are gay teen romance novel.
