Jack Foster Space Opera Series, Book 3

Jack has undertaken to return rescued Tirarge, a hitherto unknown species, to their home planet. The first problem? The Tirarge cannot speak—they're telepathic. The second problem? They don't know where their home system is located. The third problem? Another starship is following Fearless, likely seeking revenge.

A planet overlord.

Upon taking the refugees home and meeting the leaders of the populace Jack is given the whole planet. Jack then removed the Corp that was strip mining a part of the planet and polluting the surrounding areas.

good but starting to get annoying

really getting annoyed with these cliff hanger endings this is the secound book in a row that akwardly cuts off in the middle of the action.
