An Australian coastal town called Jamadget Castle has been under supernatural attack for decades. In the nearby forest, a dimension rip known as the Goblin Gate lets out bizarre creatures that terrorize the town's inhabitants.

Fourteen-year-old twins Viola and Alyssa Valentine come from a long line of magical guardians gifted with the responsibility of protecting their town. During a typical battle against a goblin, however, the twins are confronted by a different terror. A vicious and mysterious gang who hide in the surrounding bushland are threatening to destroy Jamadget Castle. As the twins fight to protect Jamadget Castle, they will be forced to confront dark and shocking secrets about their family and town history.
