From both a personal and a leadership viewpoint, we need to ask - what’s keeping us from doing our jobs effectively? This impacts on what we can deliver as an organization, and it also affects the bottom line. In a perfect world - nothing gets in the way. But instead, our work cultures excel at introducing subtle yet effective obstacles to getting things done. I’ll cover what things we’re doing or not doing, both as workers and as leaders, that are making it more difficult, less efficient, more time-consuming, less creative, and less rewarding to advance to the goal line. Then we will reveal the common thread that runs through it all.
