Great Read

I am an avid listener to Audible’s and I prefer full cast readings, but I was pleasantly surprised by the narration! (DO NOT skip the epilogue). I finished this book within 4 days. I’d say 95% of the book was amazing, great character development, beautifully written dialogue and gave great visuals. However, the ending definitely left me wanting more given how in-depth the rest of the book was. But overall, I can’t really complain. Still 9/10

Temperance is toxic

The way she treated Leo was quite childish. I didn’t care for her character. The fight scenes also felt rushed. Temperance was constantly a damsel in distress her character was weak. It was a decent story.

Almost a Good Read

The story was interesting and unique but the amount of spice was almost annoying. You can't get more than 15 minutes without the spicy content taking over. If it had 50% less spice then it would still be a lot but at least the story would be more tolerable to read. I wanted to DNF 1/3 of the way in but pushed to the end by skipping most of the spicy scenes.

Absolutely love this book. I did get a little bit smutted out. The reading dropped for me when the smut over around the plot. At some point, I was like OK let’s get on with it. But I loved that it was modernized and I hope that we see more open sexuality in the next book.

What a unique story I loved all the characters. I love the premise of the story so good can’t wait for book 2.
