Cookies and Kisses

In spite of the fact that David has shown interest in Carly, she doesn't give in to her own attraction for him. She's intimidated by the fact that he's one of the most eligible bachelors in town and adored by all. Besides, her own parents couldn't make their marriage work, so why should she think she'd do any better at romance? After a tragedy strikes, they're thrown together in an unusual way. Is it possible for Carly and David to see what they have between them? A few surprises are in store for her when she joins her friends for their annual cookie exchange.

This was a very clean short story. Carly seem to not have outgrown her childish behavior around her brothers friend David. And both have a crush but when will they give in and see what everyone else does?
