Great book. Loved all the characters.The story line had everything, revenge,love, loyalty and hope. Their love grew despite all the obstacles in their way.

Sir Ross’s faithfulness!

His faithfulness was very heart felt. It was gratifying to see that he was so loving and supportive even though she must have tried his patience severely.

sweet Story, male voice not great

First of all, I'm certain I've read this a long time ago. It was edited and re-released. It's still a good book.

The narrator's voice for Ross makes me envision an old British dude with gray mutton chops and a big belly. Not sexy at all. I know he has a serious demeanor, but he was supposed to carry that high level of responsibility, yet still be sexy and manly. I'd call her rendition of his voice "dusty", not "sexy".

It didn’t happen the way I thought it would

None of this story played out the way I thought it would from beginning to end. Another great listen from Kleypas.
