Nothing like Cinderella but such a good adaptation! Loved the feminism attached to this story! This was very well done!

Outstanding! My new favorite book!

I loved everything about this wonderful story, especially Ethel and her devotion to her daughters. The Cinderella twist is fun and I really couldn’t stop listening. I didnt want it to end and Id love to meet Ethel again in a sequel…maybe when one of her daughters does find a love match!

Motherhood- what a ride!

This book could have been trite- but it has depth and unexpected texture. I throughly enjoyed it.

Engaging depictions.

Wonderfully retelling of a fairy tale into a morality tale of motherhood and survival. Lovely and sublime.

Loved it from beginning to end

I was intrigued by the thought of hearing the "other side of the story." No spoilers, but it didn't end like I thought it would and I was NOT disappointed!!! I will definitely be looking for the next story our author tells. The narrative was the perfect choice.
