Last Will

Bernie Raleigh is a failure at nearly everything he touches. Nobody notices a loser, and after being kidnapped for ransom as a child, Bernie has spent his adult life trying to avoid being noticed.

That's impossible now that he's inherited his grandfather's enormous fortune. The inheritance comes complete with a mansion, a lot of obligations, and a very problematic housekeeper named Meda Amos.

Horrible narration

I was counting down the days for this to hit Audible because I love everything I've read by Bryn Greenwood but the narration made this impossible to get into. The narrators were emotionless and just boring. I listened for an hour hoping it would get better but gave up and returned it. I'm sure the story is exceptional so I'll be buying the hard copy, the narration on this one was just awful.

That’s it ! No real ending

I agree with other listener he didn’t take the ending to the finish line! Other books by this author was great

Did the author forget to finish?

I have loved two other books by this author but I was disappointed by this one. The narration was not great. The dialogue was frustrating and the ending was as though the author got close to the finish line and just wandered off. It’s not as though I couldn’t see where the line was going, you still need to cross it to say you’re finished.

The End

The ending stops abruptly with no closure at all. It’s like the author just quit or something. HUH?

Good read, not great

Not my favorite Bryn Greenwood book but definitely a good read, interesting story line. The ending seemed drawn out a bit.
