Letter to Sura

First-century Roman lawyer, magistrate, and author Gaius Plinius Caecilius Secundus, historically remembered as Pliny the Younger, wrote to his mentor about manifestations, incarnations, prognostications, and a strange happening within his own household. With what wisdom would you reply to such an epistle?
