Charlie's Story

Everything was supposed to change for the better when 17-year-old Charlie Simon moved across the country with her recently divorced mother. A new school, new friends, and new opportunities meant she could shape the life she wanted for herself and forget about the darkness in her past.

But secrets don’t stay hidden forever. Charlie joins a new circle of friends, and it becomes harder and harder for her to keep the past where it belongs. As an unexpected romance blossoms, Charlie wonders if she should keep hiding, or if the ugly truth needs to come out in order for her to truly heal.
