Not my favorite Lucy Dawson, but still very good

This was not my favorite book by this author, but I still enjoyed it. This one was not so much a mystery, but a suspense. There wasn't a big twist like I expected from a Lucy Dawson story. But something about her writing style always keeps me engaged. She develops her characters so well that they seem real. The narrator did an excellent job of reading this story. 5 stars for the narration.

Just Ok

I did get to the end but it was quite a dreary book and although not too many characters I found it a bit convaluted ... regardless, I did finish it

Very good narrator-story not a mystery or thriller

This was not my favorite of Dawson’s. Story just wasn’t a mystery . It was a drama with in depth introspection into the thoughts of the two major characters. But not a mystery or a thriller. Just kind of straightforward story with lots of memories and emotions. I read the whole book but I could definitely put it down.

not her typical psychological thriller type book but I still really liked it and I'm glad I listened.

Disappointing

I have been on a Lucy Dawson book binge. I have loved everything until this book.

It had potential but there was no twist, no suspense, no captivating ending.

It just ended. It was bizarre.
