Lola's Prayer

As a child from a religious family, I didn’t like to pray. There are several reasons why I didn’t like to pray, but the top reasons were: I didn’t understand why I needed to pray and didn’t know how to pray.

Grown-up prayers can be a little bit too difficult for younger minds. They have too many big words that sometimes make it too hard to understand.

As an adult, I’ve come to realize prayer can be fun for children and is needed in their daily lives.

This book is about a 7-year-old girl named Lola. Lola learns how to pray with the help of her Mom and Dad. She discovers that there is power in the words of her prayers and her prayers can impact the world around her.
