Kaiya Fletcher, an amateur gardener who loves to share her hobby on social media, thought she would be stuck at her dead-end job forever until a fire in her apartment complex causes her to fall into debt. She desperately accepts a sudden job offer as a gardener and caretaker of an elderly woman. When Kai meets the man who will be staying at the house with her for two months, she doesn't know how she'll be able to focus on her job and avoid his cold stare at the same time.

This story captures the slow, unlikely romance between a stubborn amateur gardener and a stiff financial manager who take advice from a wise, borderline eccentric grandmother who loves to bake.
