Everybody is a kid once - it’s a fact of life. They play and make friends and have fun. Kids live in the moment, going on grand adventures and making dumb promises to each other that never really matter because tomorrow is so far away. But then, they grow up. Work takes over, friends drift apart, and fun becomes a distant, foreign concept. That’s a fact of life, too. The moment becomes "now, now, now", adventure is a deadline, and promises? Well they never really mattered to being with... So, why should she care?

The narrator was amazing.

The narrator keeps you in this book, her performance was better than the performance of the writer. But not a bad short story either.
