Este título utiliza narración de voz virtual

Voz Virtual es una narración generada por computadora para audiolibros..
Shy, observant, and quietly resilient, Fanny Price steps into a world of privilege that never fully welcomes her—until everything depends on what she sees and believes. This refreshed edition of Mansfield Park is adapted for modern readers with clean, consistent formatting, contemporary typography, and lightly clarified language. Austen’s wit, dialogue, and narrative voice are carefully preserved while archaic expressions and confusing punctuation are gently smoothed, making the story more accessible without losing its classic charm.

Set in the refined drawing rooms and sweeping grounds of early nineteenth-century England, Mansfield Park explores class, conscience, desire, and the cost of standing alone for what is right. As Fanny navigates subtle rivalries, moral crossroads, and complicated affections, the emotional tension builds toward choices that will define her future. Ideal for both first-time readers and Austen devotees, this inviting edition lets you experience the novel’s slow-burn drama with fresh clarity—start reading today.

This is the first time that I have been able to complete this title although I have attempted it numerous times. So, hats off to virtual voice. It was a pleasant surprise.

Not bad for virtual voice

The AI narration is very strange. The voice does fairly well with the narrative portions of the story, but when it comes to dialogue, there is no variability in tone, intonation, accent, etc. across characters. Mrs. Norris sounds just like Mr. Crawford, who sounds just like Tom, who sounds just like Fanny, who sounds just like Lady Bertram. Bizarre. There were also many ‘small’ edits to the text (e.g, subbing the word ‘fabric’ for the word ‘baize’) that I did not care for.

WEIRD!
