Slow at first but then WHEU!!

A little slow at first but then it made me laugh and cry! I'm seldom surprised at romance novels but this one got me. Great job, Lisa Kleypass and excellently narrated! Congratulations y'all!!

Such a delight...Adored this story

I enjoyed the first Ravenel family book, but this one was a homerun! Helen and Rhys captured my heart and I thoroughly enjoyed how their story unfolded.

Characters Develop in Unexpected Ways - Refreshing!

Such an amazing job by narrator - love the many tonalities (is that the word?) used to depict the women! The Welsh accent seemed a bit Indian/Middle Eastern to me - but I don't have much experience w/Welsh accents, so...
Regardless, her depiction of scenes was seriously awesome - coupled w/the authors fun & refreshing story development made this one of the best reads in this category this year! So much fun :).

Worth the wait!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Marrying Winterborne to be better than the print version?

The two versions are equally wonderful - not always the case, but this book - marvelous!

What did you like best about this story?

I loved that Helen found love, so did Rhys - and together they made a life that encompassed love, caring and respect. It was beyond wonderful! All of the characters were perfectly depicted by the narrator - she did a fantastic job!!!

Which character – as performed by Mary Jane Wells – was your favorite?

I adore the narrator's version of Rhys with his Welsh accent - perfection!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me laugh out loud, be concerned at plot points, cross my fingers and sit and just listen as the plot unfurled instead of my usual work while listening. I was absolutely riveted by the story - and it definitely did NOT disappoint!

Any additional comments?

As much as I loved the first two Ravenel books, I'm thrilled that there is supposed to be one or two more. So many characters that I am anxious to hear about - esp. the twins. I've already ordered the print version for the next installment - February won't come soon enough!
