Fortune is asked to look into the situation before the inept local sheriff railroads the couple or simply allows gossip to run them out of business, which will cost them their home. Swamp Team 3 heads to Voodoo Island to find a way to clear the couple and finds a complicated mess of locked doors and old secrets awaiting them. Is Voodoo Island really cursed? Or can Fortune unravel the mystery and lead her team to victory?

One of the best in the series

I really loved this book. I’m a fan of the whole fortune series, but this was a really clever plot. I hate the use of the Lord’s name as an expletive or exclamation. But other than that, this was a winner.

Enjoyable

Another original scenario for the recurring characters. Perhaps in the next book you could solve the dilemma for the elderly owners of the mansion.

A good one

This one kept me guessing til the end.. There were not so many characters that I could keep them straight. And even though the one who committed the murder was revealed, it gave you lots to think about.

Love this series!!

Jana Deleon makes me laugh and cry. Can’t get enough!!! Can’t wait for the next book to come out.
