Max’s Words by beloved children’s author Kate Banks is "in a word: captivating" (Booklist).

Benjamin collects all kinds of stamps, and Karl has a huge collection of shiny coins. Neither of them, however, will let their younger brother, Max, touch any of their neat stuff. So since his brothers won’t share, Max decides to start collecting on his own. But what should he collect? How about…words! Using scissors, he begins snipping words out of periodicals.
