Maybe that's why Ryler completely loses her mind and makes a move on Pike.

Their kiss under the mistletoe is more than steamy, but it abruptly ends when Pike discovers he's been smooching Alia's "assistant." He isn't about to jeopardize everything by seducing a woman who's off-limits. But as Pike guides the podcast crew around town and into the great outdoors, Ryler seems determined to get him hotter under the collar than a steaming cup of cocoa . . .

Pike and Ryler are great together! I wish we got a bit more backstory on Ryler’s fear of the spotlight, but overall I had fun with this - especially since it’s happening simultaneously with book 1 in this series. Open door, 🌶️🌶️.5.

was not my favorite of Codi Hall's

I don't know what it was exactly but this was not my favorite. I found myself zoning out most of the time while listening to it and I usually love this series from this author. one thing that I particularly didn't like was the voice acting. I know they're the same voice actors that have done all the other stories from her but somehow it became a bit grating especially when the man would say things like baby and kitten. I don't know it just kind of gave me the ick every time. I wish they would do different voice actors for each of the books so that way we could have a variety for each character. it wasn't such a big deal when they would come out once a year but with multiple coming out in the same Christmas season this year variety would have been enjoyable. our main character was fine and it was nice seeing Pikes side of the story as well as he has been a character in many of the other books. overall a fine read but somehow a little less enjoyable.

Pike (MMC) is co-owner of an adventure tour company with his best friend, Anthony, in Mistletoe, Idaho. He’s wanting to settle down and set some roots down with the right woman and fate has brought her right to Mistletoe.

Ryler (MFC) is an Instagram influencer travel podcaster, her and her best friend, Neil, started it together with their free spirits and love for traveling. Life has gotten a little complicated for them though and this story has many laughs with lots of sweet moments.

Repeat of Anthony's book

I wanted to hear Piles story from when I listen to Nick and Joel's Story... But was a little disappointed when this story is basically Anthony and Deliha's Story. A recap of What happened in there book would have been goood. But to go though the story all over again nope. I wish they would have picked up right as the Excursions started ... they didn't even go to the Hot springs that she was so excited to visit ...bummmer. they rushed the ending. this book could have been better. Honestly it could or should have been a novella ifyou wanted not right it out in more detail.

I feel a small recap would have been great at the beginning, Then the excursion being more detailed in those .... the hot springs ... then going back to where to her leaving. this not worth the 10 hrs to listen too.

If a re-write is done I will update my stars but I could have gone with out listening to this one...I'm sad for Pike he should of had a better story.
