A Sunshine Walkingstick Short Story

On the seventh day of Christmas, I and my buddy David Eckstrom finally got around to holding that shindig we've been talking about for so long. Only, we weren't the only bodies looking for a good time on New Year's Eve. There were monsters afoot on the lake, and the remedy for 'em was something I didn't expect at all.

Good short story addition to the universe

If you are a fan of the universe Celia Roman has created than this quick little tale
Will fit well into your collection. Recommend reading more Of the series before this one as it helps tone familiar with the characters. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator or publisher

Cute scene

This was a cute little scene and is best enjoyed after the first three sunshine walkingstick stories. It won’t make much sense on its own but it a cute little moment. As always I love sunshine

just a little taste

If you've read (or listened to) the Sunshine Walkingstick series you'll know what this scene is. But the whole thing is 13 minutes long; what's that 10 pages? It's just a little taste of the tone and feel of the series. It's worth the listen, but it really isn't much on it's own.

A short story, that is worth it.

I wasn't sure about this one, given the length. I took a chance and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. From the story to the narrator - it was worth it. I can see this being a prequel perhaps given how the story ends. I was particularly impressed by the narrator's characterizations & her twangy accent was spot on.

Great short story

Love this series and am looking forward to the next book! Can’t wait for it!
