In 2003, Cindy Monroe founded Thirty-One Gifts in the basement of her home in Chattanooga, TN, with one goal: to help women by giving them the opportunity to run their own successful businesses. Today, she continues to lead Thirty-One Gifts and build relationships with her consultants all over the country.

In More than a Bag: Celebrating the First 20 Years of the Thirty-One Story, Cindy, along with contributors Julie Sutton and Cathy Smith, share the backstory of how their journey together led to the making of Thirty-One Gifts, one of the largest direct sales companies started in the last 20 years, with more than five billion dollars in total sales.

More than a Bag gives listeners a first-row seat to the bumps and wins that made Thirty-One Gifts what it is now, emphasizing the always-present reminder that success was only measured by how they made others feel. This book is Cindy’s love letter to the employees and consultants at Thirty-One and a way to honor all who have been a part of this journey.

Inspiring

I’ve enjoyed reading this book twice and now to have the option of hearing it being read to me from Cindy Monroe herself is incredible. Her passion for encouraging and celebrating women and sharing her faith/ dreams is amazing. I’ve enjoyed listening to this book being read by her and I have it in my library and will be listening to it again in the near future.
