Hockey players were never my type.

A Swoon Worthy Story

Piper Rayne does it again with the third book in The Nest series. Connor Crais & Luci Christian Bell along with Teddy Hamilton, CJ Bloom, JF Harding, Sean Masters, & Troy Duran. Connor & Luci are Conor & Eloise. They did an incredible job bringing these characters to life. This is the first time I have listened to Luci and she captured Eloise perfectly. Connor was terrific for the lovable Conor. They both had great chemistry & showing off the emotions, banter, & humor. Along with the rest of the cast, the audiobook was perfection.
I never did a stop the wedding trope. I loved how Piper Rayne wrote these characters. Eloise being a yes person, and marrying a man she wasn’t sure she truly loved. Conor having an instant connection to someone he never thought he would have. I love how they end up as roommates and then taking a chance with each other.
The writing was amazing and Piper Rayne once again connected all these characters together so well, that you wish you were a part of this family.

I was so captivated by this storyline right from the beginning! I totally fell in love with these characters. So good!

Another great addition to the Nest series. I was hooked immediately and didn’t want to put it down! I got the audio so I wouldn’t have too! The narrators did an amazing job bringing this story to life! They really made me feel like I was right there! I absolutely adored Conor and Eloise! Conor is definitely book boyfriend worthy and lives up to the Mr. Swoony title! If you’re in the mood for sports, band of brothers, close proximity, love at first sight, roommates to lovers romance make sure to check this one out.

Great narrators

The story was all the more entertaining with multiple narrators, including some from her other hockey romance novels. Plot was different from other stories because of the love at first sight leading to disrupted nuptials. I’ve seen this happen in real life! But I must admit, boy meets girl, rescues and protects girl, and then marries her is a bit tiring (it runs through many of these books). Ruby the bar owner is a hilarious and refreshing character!
