Murder Haunts a Wedding

The man on the dock didn’t ping Rylly’s radar
but the bodyguard standing behind him sure did.

Greg Giddens proclaimed himself a self-made man who always got what he wanted until he came up against Rylly Barr. He wanted to hold the wedding of his granddaughter on the island on July 18th of this year. Rylly thought he was joking. She knew they couldn’t have the resort ready in time. With each no, he threw more money at her until she agreed to his demands.

Rylly thought she was getting a good deal. The money he paid her would pay for the first two phases of her resort development and half the third. What she got was a megalomaniac who had a different agenda, an agenda that included owning her island, a bride and a groom that were in love—with someone else, and an outbreak of smuggler activity in her island swamp.
