Murder in Myrtle Bay by Isobel Blackthorn is an excellent cozy crime mystery. Natalie Beran did an incredible job with the narration. The story is entertaining, interesting, cozy, engaging, enjoyable, fun, and more. Murder in Myrtle Bay is the first book in Ruth Finlay Mysteries series. Highly recommend

Light cozy mystery, nice narration. Love the setting and the characters in this cute story.

Excellent start to the series

Ruth Finlay and her neighbor Doris Cleaver find a dead body in a antique market. In their small Australian town everyone knows everyone else and many hold grudges for decades. With plenty of suspects and motives, Ruth and Doris start sleuthing. I enjoyed the story and the mystery very much. The characters are quirky and funny but are determined to find the truth. I enjoyed Ruth’s preparation of meals for her dad in the nursing home and for Doris. The narration was outstanding.
