Didn’t like the new breathy voice of Lizzie. It’s annoying.

Love these books but Merci is becoming tedious with her running into things and not telling the Inspector. After a year, there should be some growth and her I cant help it that just how I’m wired is a cop out.
I do love the books.

Cozy Mystery with depth!

Mercy once again stumbles into the middle of an investigation, but this time she and her sister are positive that they are being stalked. Are the mysteries related or separate? I absolutely love this series! The characters are so well developed, lovable and realistic that they draw you and keep you wanting more! The mysteries are well developed and often wrapped in layers of other mysteries that may or may not be related, no spoilers here...you'll have to read and find out for yourself! I promise you won't be sorry that you picked up the series. I do recommend highly that you read the series in order as with most cozy mystery series each book builds the backstory of the characters involved as well as progresses their relationships with each other and the town around them so you won't want to miss out on a morsel of info that you might find extremely important down the line! Plus, all the hours of wonderful reading entertainment. Each time I read a new book in the series, I think this one will be my favorite then I pick up the next and find myself saying it again. FYI: This book is also available in audiobook and the narration is quite good so if you are a listening style of reader, this series is still for you! You can't go wrong whether you prefer the book, eBook or audiobook version, this series should be on your must-read list!!!

Gripping

Great cozy mystery. Both the author and the narrator kept me invested from the first chapter. With a number of twists and turns and a result I didn’t see coming, I was hooked. Cannot wait to read and or listen to more from this author.

Why Change Lizzy’s Voice??

I had to check to see if there was a different performer when Lizzy sounded COMPLETELY different! It makes it seem as if it’s a different character and it becomes hard to connect with the character. Please go back to the voice of all previous books!

loved book fast pace and wholesome. Good twist and turns and suspense about their dad. character development is interesting makes me want to know more about these people.
