She didn’t know her life would change forever that day. She only knew it was cold, and something was not quite right about the room she was walking into. She couldn’t escape - every fiber in her being was telling her to run, yet she had nowhere to go and no one to turn to. She could only sit and watch someone take their last breaths. She made her choices and knew they weren’t all the right ones.
