Always give authors a second try

While the first book I Listen to by Phoebe McLeod was on the slow side, the narrative of this book intrigued me enough to try again. I am so glad I did as this book was well paced, contained beautiful characters, was excellently narrated, and a true joy to listen to. Highly recommend.

Creative start but too fairytale ending

Good story. Wish the book did’nt have to end with every one has a man so they are ok.

Great story. nice narration

This story had just the right amount of tension to make for an engaging listen. Nice story of a very young Mom, still young and growing with her teen. Nice family relationships, lovely love interest and some saucy villains to add that tension. The heroine was super likable and strong, yet vulnerable as well. I loved her standing up to people in her lives who were being jerks! Very good all around.
