The stories in this book are first-hand experiences of Neville Bransby's growth as a yachtsman and yacht owner, starting with his re-building of an old L36 cruising yacht which he entered in his first Vasco Da Gama yacht race in 2015, followed by a Shearwater 30, Farr 38 and finally a Farr 40, eight years and seven Vasco's later, to win line honours and the coveted Vasco Da Gama trophy in May 2023.
