Mel is a youth who follows a mysterious trail and ends up in another time. With some unexpected help, he manages to adapt to life in the Middle Ages. Though it reminds him of the role-playing game he and his friends like to play, the reality is very different. He joins a group of adventurers and learns of a sorcerer who plans to summon the infernal. They set out on a quest to prevent the unleashing of hell on earth. Warriors hack, rogues stab, and elves bless while an adolescent boy struggles to survive the threat of a dangerous cult. Will he learn the truth before it is too late?
