I love all the J. Kirby books!!

Of course Jacqueline Kirby is over the top, but that’s why we love her. We never would have a heroine like her today, we probably wouldn’t even see a woman like this out in the wild today. The oversized hat wearing, big bag carrying, cleverly measuring up all the people around her in a single glance is just a beloved character from the past that I still love to revisit.

Love the female lead , story was great and ending I did not see coming at all !

Great series

I love this Amelia Peabody series. The heroine is a feisty woman based in the late 1800's early 1900's. I have always been interested in Egyptology and this is a wonderful mystery series set in this context. Early feminine Activist. Great humor and character development.

A pleasant Read

When I first started listening to Elizabeth Peter's books I thought there was way too much detail but as I have listened to more and more of her books, I realize the detail is what hooks you and keeps you feeling like part of the adventure. This was my first Kirby mystery but I know I will be listening to them all before long. The character is engaging, a little sassy and very likable. I would recommend this book and suggest listening to the series to fully enjoy the authors ability to tie the stories together.

Fun

Elizabeth Peters is one of my favorite authors and she almost always delivers. Naked is entertaining and the ending is a surprise, which is always fun.
