I rescued Sabrina from a mafia bloodbath when she was 13. As the new head of the Philly syndicate, I sent her to the best schools to keep her as far away from the life - and me - as possible. Female narrator....

Her voice is so grating. Especially her male voice. Seriously, everything she says as Nate is sharp / angry sounding, etc even in more tender moments. She’s got one inflection in her voice - irritating.

I enjoyed this one alot more than the 1st book. The back story and was more developed and the side characters were great. I loved Nate in the 1st story, so it was no surprise that I enjoyed more of him and I really liked Sabrina's attitude and strength. I def recommend this one!

Wow…loved this!

Narration was perfection! Nate is one of my favorite male characters ever! I love his humor. Loved these two. Amazing story all the way through. Loved the thrill of the action mixed with romance and steam.

liked that the ending wasn't rushed

Too often books miss giving us a good shoot out or heroine trapped and needing to really really fight to save herself. This one isn't bad ... I would have liked to see a little more action at the fight. .. a little more torture, but it was good. I'm not a huge Bloom fan, but she did well. My issue with the book was having Sabrina be 18. I think women would like the book better had she been say 21 or 22 just finishing her bachelor's degree instead of just finishing high school.

Totally loved this one. Nate is yummy and swoonworthy with just enough mystery and violence.
