This is a light-hearted story featuring a strong female protagonist, some unusual friends and family, and a mystery that needs solving! It has no graphic gore or love scenes, or bad language. It is a standalone novel.

Good story, Bad Narration

This is a good story but the AI narration left a lot to be desired. Sentences didn't flow right and the emotional inflection was flat.

No AI voice.

I hate the use of AI for reading. Mispronunciations and monotone. I think the story was cute but that reading. UGH!!!

Great Book

Loved the book. Would be great with a real narrator. AI just doesn’t the book justice.

Juvenile writing

Unimpressive storyline. The characters seemed shallow and the audible 'automated' read was really bad. I finally realized that the main character was not a pie, as read, but that she was a P.I. Perhaps if I was reading the book instead of listening to it I could have continued but I turned it off after about chapter 2.

Need a Human Reader

I enjoyed the story and I would like to listen to others in the series, but I don't think I can tolerate the AI narration. There are attempts at inflection and emphasis, but they are often way off the mark. Also, simple words are mispronounced, for example, the word "does" is pronounced as it would be for multiple female deer. And the main character was once a P.I. as in private investigator, but every time "P.I." is used, it is pronounce "pie". Yeah, probably will not continue with this series.
