Tips for Surviving the Highway of Life

I've been traveling the highway of life for 75 years. About 20 years ago I started jotting down notes about what I've learned — my goal being to not repeat the same mistakes. But sometimes stubbornness, and other times optimism, caused me to go down the same unsuccessful or unhappy or disastrous paths as before. Some of the lessons I learned may be obvious to you; they were not to me. Some were jewels of wisdom passed on by elders, by friends, by colleagues. Others yet were learned through experience or observation. Some were easy, others painful.

This book contains some of what I have learned dealing with life, with friends, with challenges. I can only hope you will find something meaningful here.
