The author did a great job acquainting the reader with Walker Island. I really enjoy this series I just wish each book was a little longer.

Wholesome romance

This was cute, but simple. The main character is Morgan, a makeup artist with a booming career, who comes home to Walker Island and reconnects with her high school sweetheart. Morgan was a nice girl and she and Ryan fit well together. She didn't want to choose between her job and love and struggled with the decision for most of the story. I wanted more drama, or some smut, or something to liven up the book. I feel like this would be something you could read with your grandma lol. It was quick and easy, if you're looking for something wholesome and fluffy, this is for you!
