Charming, surprising and recommended!

If it is time for a good listen without gore or much violence, this is for you. It was very much a surprise and delightful.

Interesting

The book starts off a little slow but then gets better. The narrator was not too good. Should have had different voices for women and the child.
Overall nice...but this was my first audio book.

A quiet view of New York during the depression.

I really enjoy Pete Hamill’s style of writing and how he inserts intersecting New York history into his novels.

Best book I’ve read in a long time!!
