The Poet in Us All

Creativity is an attribute that we often think other people have. We applaud it in artists, choreographers, composers, writers, and others, but seem to ignore or downplay it in ourselves. That we do is in some ways a tragedy. Creativity adds a dynamism and an enjoyment to life—a vitality that can be ours without a lot of effort. It may indeed be more readily available the less we force it.
